Open Art Collection is a fine art social network community which provides you with an easy way to post and share images and descriptions of works of art online, and add meaningful metadata and comments to works of art.

You do not need to be registered to search or view member Collections, Ateliers, Galleries, Museums and Virtual Museums on Open Art Collection, however you must be a registered member of Open Art Collection to post works of art, comments and to consult auction records.

You can choose to make your identity and/or collection public for anyone to access, restrict access to a limited number of other Open Art Collection users or private or limit access so only you and/or individually selected member(s) can access them.

You can specify whether or not you want your works of art to be accessible to the public, accessible to a select few, or private invitation only.

Collectors can choose to keep their identity private or restrict access to a limited number of other users of Open Art Collection.

You can delete individual images of works of art that you have on Open Art Collection by selecting the images that you wish to delete, then clicking the delete button. Visit your Open Art Collection account information area to edit your profile, default privacy settings for your listings, and more.

This information may change as Open Art Collection revises this service by adding or removing features or using different service providers.

Open Art Collection collects personal information when you register with Open Art Collection, when you use Open Art Collection products or services, when you visit Open Art Collection pages or the pages of certain Open Art Collection partners, and when you enter promotions or sweepstakes. Open Art Collection may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.

When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, ZIP code, age, occupation, industry, and personal interests. When you register with Open Art Collection and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

2. We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
3. We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Open Art Collection's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
4. We transfer information about you if Open Art Collection is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Open Art Collection will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Open Art Collection displays targeted advertisements based on personal information.

Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click targeted ads meet the targeting criteria—for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.

1. Open Art Collection does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.

Open Art Collection advertisers include financial service providers (such as banks, insurance agents, stock brokers and mortgage lenders) and non-financial companies (such as stores, airlines, and software companies). Open Art Collection works with vendors, partners, advertisers, and other service providers in different industries and categories of business. Open Art Collection may set and access Open Art Collection cookies on your computer.

Open Art Collection lets other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Open Art Collection's cookies.

Open Art Collection uses web beacons to access Open Art Collection cookies inside and outside our network of web sites and in connection with Open Art Collection products and services.

You can edit your Open Art Collection Account Information, including your marketing preferences, at any time.

New categories of marketing communications might be added to the Marketing Preferences page from time to time. Users who visit this page can opt out of receiving future marketing communications from these new categories or they can unsubscribe by following instructions contained in the messages they receive.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Open Art Collection service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the Open Art Collection Newsletter, that are considered part of your Open Art Collection account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
